The Patient Old Man

When going through a mountain pass, a Bedouin (villager) once went over an elderly person who was visually impaired and who appeared to be burdened with different illnesses everywhere on his body. Plainly he was squandering without end. He was even deadened and was continually compelled to stay in a situated position. The Bedouin could plainly hear him state, "All acclaim is for Allah, Who has protected me from illnesses with which He has tried numerous among His creation; and He has, in reality, favored me over numerous among those that He made."

"My sibling!" shouted the Bedouin. "What have you been spared from? By Allah, I imagine that you have been harrowed with each and every sort of infirmity!"

"Leave from me," said the elderly person, as he raised his head. "Do I not still have a tongue with which I can articulate His Oneness, and with which I can recall Him each and every minute? Furthermore, do I not still show at least a bit of kindness with which I can know Him?"

These expressions of the elderly person were sufficient for the Bedouin to apologize to Allah for his transgressions and approach Him for absolution.

Keep in mind, there is dependably another person who is in more issue than you.
